Ya know, I will go so far as to say cheesecake is a pie. Now I know what you're gonna say: 'Its got 'cake' in the name so its a cake'.

But lets consider this:

Cakes are light an fluffy, cheesecake is heavy and dense.
cakes don't have a crust, cheesecake does

So therefor, I will also accept cheese cakes as 'Best pies'.

With that said... my aunt makes one helluva pumpkin pie flavored cheese cake..damn good shit that is.
