Also, I have an idea for a different name of the mod. Just hear me out on this, it would be perfect: Red Dawn: Source d: |

My problem with the name is I am really sick of all the "_____: Source" titles. Talk about uncreative.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing at all against a real sick sense of humor but...
when you release this game, you'll get crucified ^_^ If the "Bundesprüfstelle fur Jugendgefahrdende Software" (something like "Central testing agency for software which endangers the youth" (no shit, there really is something like this. I don't know if they're wearing uniforms, but I guess their uniforms are brown...)) hears anything about this game, they'll... I don't know. I still don't get what they're thinking. I guess they'll immediately ban Final Fantasy 7 and/or Half-Life (can't say for sure if they understand that there's a difference between HL and HL2) |

Noooooo don't release, please. I'm sick of all the media propaganda hype against games which are only considered as "KILLER games" in Germany. That's exactly what they are looking for. I already can see the headlines "12 years old runs amok in his school" "the Bloodbath happens online in HL2!" .... Arghh

Well the concept is different, well It would have been if Bully hadn't come out last year. I can't say it appeals to me but I hope you enjoy the process and the final development.

I wouldn't mind slashing up some virtual jocks/meat-heads.
That being said - the "omg this game makes kids kill each other" hype will prolly follow wherever you go. Meh - good luck with it anyways. |

That's great, have a bunch of people running around a high school stabbing each other with switchblades.

I was approved as a trial member. They want me to do a trial map for official membership of the dev.

Good luck with the mod. It seems that these kind of mods never really go far into dev though. It's like, you got ppl to do the easy stuff like mapping, texturing, modeling but no one to actually make the progress happen in the game.
Do you guys have a programmer? |
