I don't mind them weakening the engineer, but a less effective sg is what's discouraging after having a certain standard in TFC.

For example say a soldier is bombarding your sg with rockets. In TFC you could weather it out by standing behind your sg banging away. In FF the rockets will more likely push you back and blow up the sg before you can get close enough to repair it. Factor in FF's inferior melee detection and there have been some situations it's been impossible to keep my sg up that wouldn't have been in TFC. So I can either:

A. Try to repair my sentry and most likely get killed in the process (and lose my sentry)

B. Attack the soldier with shotgun or raygun (assuming an EMP is out of range) and weaken the soldier a little bit, and still lose my sg.

How is this adding skill to the game? Either way I can't defend my sg against a single attacker where I used to be able to in TFC.

I think you'll find it quit nice. There are balances put in place. The sg goes up quicker, and a couple other things I don't remember if has been ,

theres always 2.11 if the balancing is fucked. keep that in mind children. =) release T-Minus 3.14159265
