fps is a function of ... ?
since playing qwtf im puzzeld about this ... your playing an online game and the fps-rate is fine as long as only a few people in the yard. But once there is a fragfest the fps-rate drops to unplayable levels. Im sure that its not the rendering-time that causes this. There seems to be a realtion between the net-packets received from the server the frames that are rendered ... It would be nice if someone could shed some light on this and maybe give hints how to tweak for more fps ...

Check that out, it's for the old hl1 engine, but the same principles should apply. Be noted, however, that net_graph 1 no longer shows a working graph. Not for me anway. |
