Requesting a Modeler to Convert Some Prefabs to Static Props

I've been trying to fly under the brush limit on a mapping project I've been working on, but I've now been reduced to painstakingly removing faces all over my map rather than use static props (and by this I mean, for instance, taking floor sections and folding up the underside to save one face).

Evidently, I've become fairly desperate. I don't know how to use XSI, but I'm sure someone on this forum is fairly adept at it. Therefore, if you'd be interested in helping me to get a *new* map out and released this month, and you're familiar with the process of converting prefabs to props, PM me and we'll get together in IRC to work something out.

Thanks in advance!

hehe, i've just hit my brushlimit in pushcanyon, it's a quite nasty problem

turning a few things like curved walls into displacements can also help a lot

i just hate the maxbrushes thing, only 20% of all brushfaces are actualled left in the bsp, so why is there a limit on it, like a floor brush: 6 faces, only 1 is used, just limit the visible faces then

and i could help you depending on what you need to convert, if you have brush based trims and girders, i can model those in 3dmax and they will even look beter since model can use uvw mapping instaid of face mapping but complex geometry like hummers and stuff are still quite impossible for me

I am requesting something along these lines:
http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w...h_XSI_Mod_Tool
I can't follow the tutorial and have no idea how to go about setting up the necessary texture files and such...

The structure is rather simple: a large network of hexagonal cells already constructed in hammer and exported as a vmf (though they would need some cleaning up to remove excess/invisible faces), I do not know if models require a separate texture or whether they can be assigned materials which are available in hammer... if they do require a new material, I would also like to have a red and blue skin. All of this is beyond me though.

I would post some screenshots, but things are not done and the lighting has not been adjusted... and of course, it is a surprise of sorts.
