Spraypaints

Hey guys..is there a tutorial for spraypaints?? I would like to get a few to put in game. For some reason, the ones i would use in say half life or tfc dont seem to work. I know that ur supposed to have a jpeg file or something. I got an error stating that my file was corrupted, but i used the very same file to create my wad file for TFC??? Go figure?? Any suggestions??

its been a lil while but i thought it had to be a tga or vtf file?

no bigger than 256 x 256 for sure though

and it can have a alpha channel

hm..save as tga, i think the "import spray" option will convert it, weither or not it needs a vmt file to define transparency or not i dont remember. i have a lil project to do with sprays so i'll let you know soon.

if your the "myr" i know, your on my friends already, just hit me up later and ask me, i may forget, and i'll check it real quick for you.

It has to be a VTF file in order to animate it. Other than that, I forgot how to do it.

I got one to work also, woot...But, i dont understand why it wouldn't use my other image..wacky..
