Sorry, say again? The /played time on my mage alone was 46 days in 4 years. I know all too well what EQ was, what it was like to play, and what raiding was like. But I'll put it to you like this.

My family (all 5 of us) ran Solusek B at mid 30 killing everything up to, and including, Efreeti Lord Djarn. This was in the early game, mind you, when people were shitting themselves over SSOY's and FBSS's... not when people started soloing Lady Vox.

People, genuinely, where terrrrrrible at EQ.

Also, Sleeper - not end game content? Are you joking? Well no shit after the fifth expansion came out. The Sleeper was, for the longest time, the end game content. AOE death seriously has to disagree with you. He wouldn't have even of been touched if that guild didn't exploit the shit out of him.

Go back to failing harder and being misinformed about a game that you clearly didn't start playing until after Luclin came out.

P.S. Lose and Loose are different words.

Lol attacking grammer on an online forum? give me a break. 46 days? I accumulated 720 days played in 6 years in EQ. Sleeper was not end game on velious. Temple of Veeshan was. Sleeper was a special event that only 1 group of people could do per server. Even the last boss in ToV was easy, and other dragons leading up to him were harder.

I don't know if you actually played Diablo II or if you were just taking a shot in the dark, but uh... real boss and real item (third one down) in Diablo II.

Now Azurewrath... that was some shit.

i like getting to level 70 in d2 in a day and having some nice equipment... i only wish the server browser was better.

i loved d2 (used to play it back on a 200mhz processor and id get like 6 fps lol) but i have to say if d3 were an mmo, it would lose my interest in a second.

Well that would require being a barb, which makes you useless. A barbarian's only use is as a support caster (ironically) with their warcries, but a good Call to Arms makes even that mostly obsolete.

But isn't that the difference between SP and MMO? In SP Barb's seems to have their use...

Not in act V hell they don't.

There's only a few builds that can solo act V hell.

But anyway DII was designed as a multiplayer game, with mechanics set up to facilitate multi-man raids. MMOs are just the same thing on a bigger scale.

Can be said about most classes. MF Barbs are great for Hell Baal-Meph runs. I remember rushing characters to Act V to socket shit to throw Ist runes in for my MF chars.

There are zon builds that can make their way through most anything, sorceresses are great, pallies are WAY overpowered, necros are slow but basically can't be killed ever, trapsassins dominate all over everyone's face, druids and barbs suck.

It really depends on the build, but there's no build for druids or barbarians that are even nearly good enough to match the other classes (at least post 1.08. I never played before that)

Wake of Fire ftw.
Inferno of Fire's(sp?) attack speed is like a sprinker compared to the Lightning bolt trap, so because of that I spam WoF a whole lot.

Untrue. There are excellent Barb builds, just like there are excellent builds for all the classes. And FUCK trapsassins, that's pussy shit.

Even though I am one of those builds, I have to agree.
I depend on my good ol' fire traps to kill those Blood/Venom/Moon Lords in Act V toooo much, or else they'll rape me up close.

Yeah, my thought too. I've beaten Hell as a Barb.

I loved my assassin, but never focused on the traps. I loved the fact that with one buff I moved at warp speed through the maps and destroy everything without even having to stop running lol.

Although she had a really hard time on Hell trying to kill those Ancients, I took a lot of deaths before I completed that fight.
