Specific weapons/explosions effecting entities.

I can't remember if this was a part of the entity system in HL1 but was there a key in triggers that could specify which weapons would activate the trigger?

To better sum up my question an example would be an entitiy that could only be triggered by an EMP let's say. You could of course change the value to include any or all projectiles/explosions.

One idea for example would be an EMP going off in a certain area may shut down the lighting nearby for a second or two.

A team specific key value could be included to specify who can effect the entity.

I feel mappers could utilise this to create some interesting effects in game with more flexibility to create pseudo dynamic environments/gameplay changing effects.

Hmm, what if the FF team coded the lights to dim 20% when triggered by EMP in radius of like 10 feet lets say...

That kind of dynamic lighting isn't feasible Mike, as far as I know.

There is no such entity in the HL or TFC FGD files. However, the effect can easily be replicated using entity heirarchy in HL2.
