ANY OTHER FORTRESS TYPE GAMES ?
I used to play the original team fortress classic on my old PC when it used WON. Some time between then and my new PC I lost my key and the cd and stuff and i dont feel like buying it again. I know there are other mods out there that follow the team fortress formula. There was a mod for castle wolfestien that was like team fortress and i just wanted to know if anyone knew of any others I could play ? Thnx.

You could find one of the dozens of places holding on to the original Team Fortress (I use SMBC's server).
Or you could download Enemy Territory, and then Enemy Territory Fortress. If you have quake 3 there's always Q3FX. Anyone still playing this?

if you have hl2dm or any other steam source games you should try sourceforts it has a class based style gameplay with ctf...but you build forts with blocks so it's different in that aspect but still fun

Once you get passed the fact that you can't read anything, it's still a horrible game

Isn't that rather pointless? If you play against your self you'll always win. This needs to be hacked into working on MSN so I can throw shoes at other people!

Weird that you posted that yesterday and customtf.com just times out for me. Seems like the site is down?

I got the CustomTF page to load by loading it through coral cache and then I clicked a download link and got timeout again. I guess their server just sucks.

Do a Google search for the file names, e.g. customtf_client_win32_10c.exe

ETF is free. I am the webmaster for PlanetETF.com and everything you need to know about ETF is on my site. All the files are there also and guaranteed to be good files. Someday I will try to get Q3FX going again if I find someone willing to let us use a server and not drop it after a month. |
