spy question, reload question and shout for ammo question..

hi guys, first off great mod, ok 3 little questions 1st is when i am a spy and chouse to disguise as a engineer and then go and try to sabatage there sentry gun it sometimes shoots and kills me and other times i can get near the gun and sabatage it ok, do i have to be cloaked and a engineer or un cloaked, or is there another reason it shoots at me, ok 2nd question when i press reload button nothing seems to happen, 3rd question when i shout for ammo i dont hear anything but shouting for armour and medic i hear ok. thx

if you are cloaked, enemy SG's shoot you.

the best way i can explain it is that your cloak dont have enemy FF (friend or foe) tags like disguises do, so the SG percieves you as an enemy.

1st: Don't cloak near SG's.

2nd: Weapons should auto reload and the single shotgun doesn't have animations.

3rd: Not sure about the ammo thing.

That's all I got.

ok thx, so if i had cloaked near to a out of site sentry gun then un cloaked before i go to sabotage, it got confused then, also only reason i asked about reload was because there was a reload bind in options for FF, thx

The SG shooting you while you are disguised might be a bug, and the reason the reload bind is there, it's for people that don't want to use auto reload.

Most weapons in FF are loaded round by round, so they will start reloading before they are empty, and allow you to fire in the middle of reloading.

With autoreload, it will reload whenever it gets a chance (as soon as you stop firing). You probably are pressing reload after it has autoreloaded, so the game wont reload a full weapon. Also, depending on the weapon it might not need to reload (railgun, tranq, nailgun, etc) and again there is no reload animation for the single shotgun(you can hear but not see it reload).
