Starting a Pub Game

So Nukem ask me if I wanted to play ff, I said yeah and invited 50 as well. I told 50 and Nukem to start inviting ppl to play a game, 3vs3 w/e. So its 12:30ish and people start going in on redgiant. map changes to crossover and bam we had a pub going

We were talking about the community, help ff etc... we just talked mostly during this round... then people voted for hunted and more people kept joining in







We had so much fucking fun. So I decided to do something me and 50 do on Hunted. He coordinate the bodyguards on what to do. While I do it for the assassins, this shit always works and people play hunted the way it is meant to be played. So I removed sniper limit and turn alltalk off. but us assassins still won, we had skanky spy and my and sir conc giving out locations of the hunted. Nice try Kube and EFFEX

So we voted for the next map and it was dustbowl and I saw the number of people joining and I was getting fucking excited.




Ok wow I haven't played dustbowl like this in a while... shit since march. Also the server was lagging due to the spam and it was epic. I was playing D most of the time, cause teams were uneven and I like playing O spy on dustbowl but oh well. So the round was almost over, 4 mins remaining and teams were unbalance so me and Kube went O and started pushing the flag, In the end I not sure who cap the last level. gg

So people voted again and we went to aardvark... but i guess at this point people were going to sleep and i was thanking everyone for showing up. at 2:20 we had ten people playing in the server.



I didn't play aardvark since i was going to bed too but Stiffy wanted to start and pickup and I was like ok. we did a 2v2, fun shit even though we got raped....

But yeah thank you all who showed up and sorry for the guys who could not make it <3 Innoc

Also I like to thank Sir Conc and 50bmg cause I got the idea from them by telling people on your friend list to start a pub game.

Also while this was going on, a few people starting joining who i havent seen in a while and also new people. So people will try the mod if the see people playing, so lets keep this going.

Lol, 90% of the people in those screens are clanners, to me that doensn't really qualify as a pub game.

oh but it was on a public server, no clan rules, also the most active ff players are clanners so what do you expect? but by having those clanners there more non clanners joined in. plus it's more like 50 50 if you look at it correctly.

Just saying, mr sensitive, that my definition of a pub is ~16 random people I never met, or don't see often, on a popular map with little to no organisation.

if ff_hunted gave extra points to the person who killed the hunted (like a flag cap) you would have seen that Skanky was clearly dominating that game. i think all but maybe 4 or 5 of my kills were on the hunted


and yeah geo, that was fun as hell. maybe thats what we gotta do for the 'night fights' or whatever, just invite a shitload of people and have a damn good time. because seriously, that was so much fucking fun.

rate 30000 works for me and for skanky as well, type it in console and try it out

well, im not going to pretend to know much about it tbh. but, i noticed i was getting a LOT of choke, making the game unplayable (like up to 200 choke), and kube said to fix my rates. i typed rate in console to see what it was and it was at 3500, which didnt seem right. so i asked geo what i should set it to and he said 30000, i did, and no more lag/choke!

so yeah, rate 30000 apparently.
