Video Card Advice
Hey guys, I just need a little advice on what kind of card I should recommend to my brother to put in a desktop he got for school. He likes to play games like COD4, Left 4 Dead, Borderlands, etc. I saw on this card while browsing Newegg and noticed that it requires a 450w PSU and the desktop he has is only a 400w PSU, does this make a tremendous difference? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
***EDIT*** Disregard the card I mentioned above, I found one that will suit his needs. I would however like to know if this monitor would work well with that card. Last edited by Rutabeggar; 07-17-2010 at 01:18 AM. |

I'd say it will, it has a DVI output and supports a higher res than the monitor will use.

Pay attention to power supply...more so than just what they warn you.
