MW2 Level Down Hack

This seems to be all over twitter. People have hacked "servers" so that if you kill anyone, you loose all your rank. The upside is lots and lots of people bitching that they spent 7 billion hours playing and game for nothing!

Now, I'm not going to say that this isn't the result of not having dedicated servers.

I will say that the decision to not include dedicated servers probably played a large role in the level of bullshit evident in that game.

Glitch was actually first found on the xbox version! It was then found to also effect the PC version. No word on PS3 afaik.

I noticed when everyone posting in the thread on the IW forums had it on 360, and some PC users complaining wasn't exactly surprising considering hacked servers have been around for weeks now.
