And to think this game doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.

WOW! They are making about 160million a month! Im sure that WAYYY excedes the overhead of running the company. I cant understand how they dont have enough rescources to Release more expansions and even include new quests and raids.

oh sorr i stand corrected. i quite playing a good 9months ago. or even more. But i remeber being at low levels and it just sucked. everytime i wanted to start a new char, it was like going through the same exact things over and over.
Yes, i should have clerifyed. I understand the focus of the game is for lvl 60 chars. But i just hated until getting to atleast 50. it was just soo mindless. |

Apparently it's very easy to level in that game. I prefer MMO's that require some actual time/effort to level. Makes things a lot more interesting than just having 3/4 of the server at max levels.

depends what you call easy. I would spend 1 week at 4 hours a day to get to lvl 25-30. than about 1 month to get to 50 than another month to get to 60. not worth the time
I know of course some of you 'leet'player are going to point out how fast you can get to sixty. But im sorry, i dont spend my entire life playing this game and just minlessly grinding into a slow decline of self bordom. non the less. My cousin was showing me some of the new armor. I know its going to be impossible to get the entire new set. BUT DAMN! The helms and shoulder pads are wicked cool. SPecailly for the warrior and umm whoever it is that has angel wings. |

25-30 in 1-2 days. Then 50-60 in a few weeks. TBC will take ~ a month to level (ish), depending on what you do and how you do it. There are shit loads of quests in the new 5 man instances and other random quests. |

Is it really possible to level slow in WoW if you know how to play any kind of games at all? I screw around in WoW ALOT and I'm at 44 atm after 9 days of playtime.

My 60 warlock has 9 days play time, but warlocks are actually the easiest class to play imo.

Yeah, that ridiculous. How is the entire server not full of level 60s? Is it just pvp all the time?

No, but there are tons of 60's. PVP is consent only, so if you don't wanna do PVP, you can fight monsters till you drop. You can also join PVP servers, where its open PVP all the time, but I remember days in UO with gank squads camping the newb areas and wanting to murder them viciously with a plastic fork. I dont do PVP well.

What is there to do after you reach 60? Lol. Sure get more gold and equipment, but that can only be fun for so long.

Nothing. I don't know what people are talking about when they say "I got to level 30 and quit, the game sucked," 1-59 is the most fun I've ever had playing a game.
5 man instances with your friends > *. World PvP matchups with your friends on a new server before raid gear gayness starts > *. Then you get to 60 and you have to schedule your life around raid times so you can grind for gear, otherwise you can stand around in your faction's capitol, hopelessly looking for a group, or waiting in queue for battlegrounds so you can grind PvP honor. I lol whenever I hear "I can't stand grinding to 60," the grind BEGINS at 60. |
