DoD
Look how long it took valve to give DoD the time of day.. So, FF would prolly take a bit of time after it gets off the ground.
OT- There used to be a DoD server that would have Axis n Allied battles and a webpage updating who controled what places of europe. (I forget the webpage) Could this be done with a TFC mod also or was alot of webpage design and what not incorporated into that specific server ? |

About mods appearing in steam, you can make anything appear in the 3rd party list by dropping it into the relevant folders. If you wanted you could have a game appear in steam that is called "Steam sucks donkeys nads" and valve wouldn't do/know a thing.

I'm sure the devs will pick Playtesters based more on those members who are being helpful and contributing to the community rather than any old schmo' who raises their hand and says "Choose me!".
When it comes to Steam, i've heard lots of complaints about just getting the launcher to work, and even if Valve do show an interest and want to make it retail, they'd probably hold off forcing you to pay for it until HL3, like they've done with DoD:S. |
