Don't get me wrong, it was a good IDEA, but you just can't use that.

Technically it's not a swastika because a swastika has to have right angles on the arms, not curved things.

It looks like a clover.

And techniquely it could merely be a "twisted cross" which is what Hitler based his swastika on. In turn, it simply means prosperity and truth.

Hitler just had to go and ruin it for everyone...didn't he.

Actually the reversed swastika is a hindu symbol for peace and tranquility or something like that, Hitler though himself clever by taking that symbol and reversing it (the way the lines point, clockwise or counterclockwise) so that it would have the opposite meaning war and chaos.

What? No. He just stole it from others.

I know that a lot of people have said that they want to be able to do stuff like this but they lack Photoshop.

Then I remembered: Hey! you don't need Photoshop to do stuff like this, you just need a good imaging program.
Then I remembered: But good imaging programs are very expensive. Normaly hundreds of dollors.
Then I remembered: There is a free open sorce program (Think Firefox) that is ofen refered as the free photoshop.

So, for those who want to give it a try, I would turn you to The Gimp. Although I don't have or use it, I know plenty of people who do and I've heard tons about it.

On a side note there is also an open sorce version of Office if anyone is interested at Open Office

Note to Mods: This isn't advertising. I wasn't paid or work for any of them, I'm just give people resorces that they have said they wanted

The Gimp has always been there in Linux as a replacement for photoshop. Many professionals say it is better in many ways but also lacks in some. Don't think it's available for windows, or will ever be.

Well, you can get Photoshop for, less than the list price we'll say, if you know where to look

Felt Inspired to create something so i quickly knocked up a fortress forever wallpaper, originally thought about using some posed models but decided that using TFC Models just wouldnt be fitting, so i opted for some of the screenshots from the media section. I will get around to doing a proper wallpaper when something better comes to mind!

I have the GIMP, but it takes forever to start up and has a really counter-intuitive layout. Also, for some bizarre reason I can't get the program to work if I try to open a file associated with it. I have to open the program myself and then open it manualyl.

On the left hand side of the site there is a link to the Windows Port.
So there IS a windows version.

IDK
The only thing I would ask is if you had the run language installed, but that doesn't seem like the problem...

I have had the Wimp installed for sometime. However, the layer methods confuse me, and the basic filters are more difficult to apply than in Photoshop.

How does Gimp handle layers?

And although that last logo idea is not a swastika, it is too close and may cause confusion among the easily offended. Normally I would personally ive a big "F*ck you!" to those easily offended, but basing a game around a logo that says "F*ck you!" isn't quite a good idea as far as marketing goes.

I just simplified an earlier one, and I moved the two solids closer to unify the logo.
