How do i creat a map for FF through source sdk?
I can make maps for hl2:dm im currently making one called dm_metalstack i just need to finish up on its entitiies and balancement.
But i was wondering how i could make a map for FF. Which game selection do i choose? HL2? hl2:dm? are there any downloads for entitities textures,player starts etc. Id really like to make a map for FF before its release and i want to know how to make maps for FF. If they are made trhough the HL2 one do I send the map to the FF creators and they make it adjustable to FF? |

read other forums
i read the other forums on mappnig and now i know you make it through hl2 but how do i get the entities, textures, and player starts.

I'm guessing there will be no entities yet, as the game isnt even released. I've just been making mine using cs:s
just get the layout and the main entities like lights, buttons and all of that stuff done, then when the game's released you'll be able to put in the ff specifics |

We havent released an entity set yet so you may aswell use HL2DM seeing as you already map using it.

wait i have another question Ive been using Hl2:dm selection for source sdk should i use cs:s or Hl2 selection instead? which one is better to use?

Any ideas for my map?
ok well im gonna start my map and i wanna know any ideas you guys can give me on it. If you can, please tell me how to trigger the tfc doors opening when you get close to them. I dont know what entities or things to use to trigger things like that.
