But it doesn't make any sense because console controllers would make TF/TFC/FF unplayable. A much better way would be to have two columns, on the left being shots of the front of a monitor with the game on it, the right being his reaction to the game on the left

the point (that he's playing a video game) is illustrated just as well by using a controller over a keyboard, it's a simple cartoon, technical details aren't important

But someone who uses console controllers on a PC is not someone who would react those ways to those games, it would be the complete opposite.

Who knows. I've always thought FPS's played with a gamepad weren't fun at all and only for people desperate enough to play it on their console where that's your only choice, but look at the market now...

So much damn seriousness because of a console controller in a picture. FFS people, this is a gaming forum, not a philosophy debate.

Hilarious, but since I am a migrant from TF2, I am less inclined to take the last part seriously (though that's probably a pretty predictable reaction for anyone who has been a Fortress gamer since QWTF. I'd probably freak out, too). TF2 is perfectly fine and a very good game when you don't try to directly compare it to TFC or hold it to the same standards.

Right, but I think the point was that the consistency between the first 3 games then something completely ridiculously different than all 3 games created a need for that pic to be made. No one said TF2 is a bad game, well some think it is, but that's not what the image implies methinks.
