Why not just have signatures turned off by default then let people do the sig thing if they want? Dunno, just seems like if you wanted to see pages and pages of spam, you should be able to.

Policing signatures is a waste of time. Setting up guidelines and making sure that folks follow them (omg 400x100! not 401x100, you're banned! no nudity! only one image per sig! 20 lines of text is 15 too many! no scat! no spooge!), I mean. Avatars are simple, concise, and beautiful.

So we'll look into the avatar problem, struct.

From what I can tell, uploading an avatar from your computer works just fine, so use that instead of trying to upload from a url.
