I'm going to try it out after exams; apparently it is an "updated" 1.6. From what I have gathered they are trying to bring in the 1.6 pros and oldschool players into it, have it featured on ESEA, and make it a huge competitive game.

...we'll see. It has been in development for something like 6 years, so God knows. It looks amazing though.

I have been playing it recently (version 1.1), and it is getting better with each update. ESEA doesn't give a damn about it, so we'll see how far this goes. With CSGO out, I'm not sure I see this going "far" but it is a superb mod regardless.
