it's all v homosapien and confusing, but i think the 8800 GTX 768MB is "in general" (no arguments here pls lol, i don't care if your GT512MB turns you on) faster than the 8800 GT 512MB, which is faster than the 9600GT. and then there's the 8800 "ULTRA" which is just an overclocked GTX (i think?) and is faster than everything but burns your house down and does things to your gf (she leaves you).
