Steams awkwardness atleast initially proved very probalamatic early on. And as the other guy said, the new models came about 2 years before steam (AFAIK).
I dont see, honestly how hardcore players or admins had hardly anything to do with the decline of TFC. It was a very small minority that actually gave problems to the general public, and those amongst other hardcorer's knew was dicks |

I don't think Steam killed TFC though, I remember when Steam was brand new and I chucked the key in and got TFC 1.6. So much better than TFC 1.5 but had troubles playing it due to Steam being overloaded at the time and random errors I kept getting. Teleporters are fun though, good times.... I stopped playing TFC for whatever reason though and haven't gone back to it. I'll definately be messing with Fortress Forever though & TF2 looks cool although they still haven't released any gameplay screenshots/footage. Last edited by o_agret; 02-18-2007 at 05:46 AM. |
