Hey forumgoers.
I am looking to replace a stereo system that was destroyed in a lightning storm a few months ago. I have 4 nice speakers that still work, so I don't want a system that comes with those.
I'm looking to set up a CD Player/Stereo reciever system.
What I need from you all is reccommendations on the CD player and reciever. I'm trying not to spend too much more than $180, but it's flexible.

Things I want: Multiple CD carousel.
This is what I'm looking at now: http://www.amazon.com/Sony-CDP-CE375-5-CD-Changer/dp/B00005I9RU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1244970248&sr=1-3, but I'm not too dead-set on anything.
Still need a reciever recommendation, if the CD changer passes the test.

Thanks for any help.

We were shopping a year or two back for a new reciever and you can't find a great one for under 200 bucks (USD). You'll obviusly have to look at a combined line.

ok this might sound off topic, but personally, i'd consider a media server, possibly home made. with the right software and decent amp (in your case), it can outgun any hifi system, and possibly do movies, too. the trick is to hook up a remote! if you're programming savvy, you can write a script to read an infrared port which reads your old hifi remote, and send various signals to your favourite media player.
