Missing Models & Textures... Unplayable?

Does a similar error like the one you pasted from your console (walllight_sheet..) occur in other maps, or is it map-specific? That's not a FF texture, i found it in the source materials gcf. The vmt has this content (maybe compare with yours)?

It seems to do it on any map.

I will try to look in the file you mentioned though.

Ok, a different map I'm receiving errors like:

MEM: OCZ DDR3 2x2GB
GPU: Nvidia 9800GTX
OS: Vista Ultimate x64 sp1

Go threw and set all your in game video settings back to default if you have changed any. See if that helps. but it sounds like your missing files some place or have bad ones. Right click your steam game like HL2 DM and verify game integrity. I know it's playing fine but something is missing or corrupt some place.

also run your source sdk base video stress test just for kicks.

Well well well, the integrity thing seemed to fix it! I checked the integrity of every HL source thing I have and then opened FF and it worked fine!

Thank all of you sooo much! Now I can enjoy TFC again.

Naw I just stay with the basics. Once we figured out it was some missing or corrupt files the verify game integrity is a pretty good tool steam has.
