(#14 #15 are not updated. Use Wikipedia if you're THAT STUPID.)

After reviewing this test, I now realize why there are tons of illegal immigrants. Jesus christ. As stated on another website, you would figure the need to learn English would be enough of a hardship on them. Anyway, good luck and have fun. :>

Here lies the problems with our capitol and in some respects the integrity of the republic.

I was just helping a couple of people study for this test. Some are difficult but I don't think that what we learn in primary school is too difficult for someone wanting full citizenship. In fact I would say this could be a good gauge to letting someone register to vote. If that's not too radical.

I started listing the 13 colonies, then I looked at the answer: colonies.

Pretty easy test, tbh.

I'm always split on this issue. Because on one hand, you don't want to repeat our history of using literacy tests to work certain people out of voting. But on the other hand every now and then I bump into someone, either a customer, or just through conversation at parties that's just so incredibly ignorant and I can't help be frightened that these people have the ability to vote.

I don't see why someone should NOT knows these things. If you want to be part of this country, you need to know things about it.

The larger issues has to be with laguage. Is it fair that a person need to know english to answser these questions even though there is NO offical language in the US?

I think language is a larger issue. If you don't know basic information about the government, then you shouldn't have the right to vote.

I wouldn't be adverse to being able to vote being a privilege rather than a right. One that has to be earned and kept rather than being given to every ignorant fuck who votes because a candidate drives a foreign car.

If you make so that an IQ test is required, there will be less people that can vote than there will be people to vote for/against.

I really don't think that was the only reason for that score.
