i cant see the point of locking a team into their base. any effort made to map anything between the O spawn and the D base would be a waste of time. but with the ability to map large open areas now, it should be easy enough to create defendable positions that open out into undefendable ones. that would mean if D try to push out too far, they get a bloody nose.

i think the point is being missed abit, it more to do with clan play than public play, since in public games you dont pick a team or have pre defined stratergy.

the point of it being, its just like any other map, but o v d in turn, and not together. This would mean that attackers had to defend and defenders attack. On an 8 man map. Also it would create new posibilities for larger maps considering theres never been a def of 8 on a ctf map before really.

i wouldnt really want a CTF that looked like dustbown because that isnt CTF style, id rather just have a map like bases that was bigger and harder to defend.
