First, yes the game will be very different from Valve's TF2. FF will be like TFC, but with better graphics and small tweaks to level some of the classes. TF2 will be a mix between tfc and CS. It'll be as realistic as CS but with different unique classes like TFC. Now for the first question. Before anyone rants at you, many people have asked this question and people tend to get itchy after reading the same question over and over. FF has yet to announce a date or guess at a date. When they feel more definite about the finish date, they will inform us.

Hey
I'd suspect that first betas will be out this year some time, the team is very devoted and they are coding and modeling and mapping at a good pace. As for FF being different from Valve's TF2, if valve stays true to the concept they had for TF2 back on the HL1 engine then they will be very different. TF2 would then be more of a hybrid between TFC and CS. Not everyones flavour at least not us old time TF:ers. FF will be an improved much more balanced version of TFC and promises to be great |

Use the search function and read the FAQ, please.
We're not giving a release date (ballpark or otherwise) until we're certain we can meet it. |
