I like how in the thread they claim that grenades will make Demomen useless, but if they ever viewed or played in any sort of TFC/FF match they'd see there's at least one Demoman per team. HOW CNA THIS BEEE???

They only reason they're mentioning GRENADE SPAM is because Robin Walker cited that as the main reason for eliminating them in TF2.

what i find interesting is how people are complaining that they cannot find an server without insta spawn....and how they are worried that it will happen with grenades....if everyone ends up playing on insta spawn servers with grenades, doesnt that really reflect what people want, and make these whiners a minority? also, i think it just goes to show that people are already tired/bored with tf2, now that they are past all the pretty colors and cute little things, they see the game for what it is, a crappy cartoon console lets level the playing field so people with no talent for gaming can feel good about themselves hugfest....fuck that..go back to your moms house and suckle on her tit..

yea that was kind of weird how people were complaining about the insta-spawn servers; it's like, "hey, i don't like instant oatmeal; you shouldn't either; instant oatmeal will ruin regular oatmeal, and i will not participate in instant oatmeal"; same thing with the 32 max players and crits mode; plus, i don't think it's a "random chance" that 32 player, fast/instant respawn + crits mod are almost always full...

Im with you Skanky, ive played TF2 a few times, i always left early cuz i was frustrated with the lack of some "cleanup power" that nades provide. Playing as hw, it was awesome to see the hw's special nades clean house, specially on some unsuspecting sniper or scout..it also paves the way for the medic to come flying out of the base with the flag...thats one thing i like about ff..they didnt lose the flavor of the Original TFC..I dont even mind the loss of caltrops..lol i never play scout anyway...

Grenades were THE anti-sentry weapon in TFC/FF. In TF2, they're a bitch an a half to take out, even Ubered. IMO, grenades gave every class a chance at taking something out, whether it be a sentry, Medic ot HWGuy. Besides, sapping sentries doesn't feel right compared to tossing two grenades at it.
