VERY easy to get by this OVERHEATING issue with the HWguy.

keep clicking your LEFT MOUSE button.....don't leave your finger on it and
you won't overheat. PHISH already mentioned this last year...lol
If you're l337, you can make a script for the HWguy to attack1:wait: then loop it.

If you are really 1337, you'd use an NE555, 3 or 4 resistors, 2 caps and maybe a transistor to do it in HARDWARE on your mouse.
Makes you a bit of an idiot but DOES get you girls, money, drugs and fame. Or not. Try it.

edit:
To post something on the topic: FF is really nice work, only the movement feels way different for me. But it's a new game, so what? It really needs exploding corpses, thats a big part of the fun in quad-EMP's.

Pros: The overall feel and balance. The increase of speed is nice because i always thought TFC was a little slow. Maps look awesome.
Cons: The player models, they are surprisingly un-stylish. Some of the sounds are kind of thin; the s-shotty, hw, and railgun.

Actually I am kind of sad...........

still in Limbo at the moment about it actually being released that I have not jumped in to play yet. I know it can never be TFC but I spent allot of hours playing non-stop and now a new one is out. It is hard to dedicate yourself to another game for the next 5 years or so. I do not know if I am ready for the commitment yet or not. I just end up staring at the install icon I have downloaded just pondering on the mysterys and the adventures to come out of this game. Spending 3000 hours on a game was awesome back in the day but I dont know if I have the strength for it now. I must install it and I must play. There is no doubts in my mind, but the question is if FF is ready for Darken_Hellspawn. I do not know, but soon will find out.

Open your gates for me FF..............Darken is coming home again!!!!!!!!!!

Well I played it for two hours.............

I loved it and hated it. I hated it that I loved it so much and to see the number of servers and players come back up makes me shed a tear. It was trully a work of art and I will cherish these first two hours as it was a gift from the immortals. I did not care for the conc'ing around corners but I jumped in and played just like the old TFC so there was no learning curve at all. I do not and have not ever got into the key binding so I had no time to spend doing that but setting up my keys. I would have to say that when I am running after you as a solly dont run and scream for a medic. Just take it like a man and die with so damn dignity. It is OK!!!! You will respawn again to fight another day. I saw way too many pussys out there screaming and whining running away like little bitches. If is a natural reaction for me to come after soon if you shoot me in the ass as it should be. The scout seemed to be allot faster but maybe that is because it has been awhile since I have played. The answer is NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Snipers do not need $#$%^ extra nade packs. The maps I did play the graphics were intense but the HW Guy is going to have serious back problems lugging that big ass gun around. He looks like he is the Hunch Back of Nortre Dame with a slight issue of hemoroids. Give him a damn back brace or something............it is heavy as hell. How much does hell weigh???? Allot according to the weight and measures guru's.

Also??? Why does the medic have a ninja sword and a two shot darringer? You could have given him a shotgun or something. What medics you know carry Ninja swords with them??? Yeah me too........I know 3 but who is counting.

BTW..............I am playing as -{YB}- Darken_HellSpawn

Yeah its not bad. Little bit slow gameplay for me. Wish there was a little more bhop and a little less release time on the rl (speed itself is perfect). Kinda fun, but i think it will take a bit more time to get really into it. Back to qwtf pugs for now :P

I'm also at full brightness and the skins are a little dark; hard to appreciate all the modelling work you put in :P

Oh yeah and i like what was done with pyro/sniper

zero to full speed bhop in 1 leap is way to slow. you also can't curl as much as a result im guessing.

haha, that would be an astable!

in fact, you need a way of controlling the duty cycle. stick a diode in there maybe?
