HL2 and HL2:EP1 are included in the orange box.

TF2+Portal+HL2:EP2+HL2+HL2:EP1 = Orange Box
1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 5

Though counting the episodes as separate "games" is a bit dubious...

I'm pretty sure if the episodes weren't counted as seperate games it would be 3 games.... :P
Maybe 4 if you count Ep 1 + Ep 2 = one game?

It's because they are independent of each other; you can play EP1 without HL2 etc. Admittedly it's rather crap because the "game"/episodes will only take you a couple of hours to complete, but still technically accurate.

PS release FF so we don't have to have such inane discsussions as this, thanks.

Sure, but then game makers could create a separate install for each level and say: 12 games, 1 box!!!1one

Plus, I'm sure we will have inane discussions after release

Hell, we have inane discussions during testing...

The testers and devs have the game to tinker around with and work on, and sometimes the weirdest shit comes up.

I imagine it is only going to get worse after the game is out. /=

You should hear 4ests wheelchair trunk story. 'tis hilarious.

I haven't seen anyone in a TF2 server yet who cared that much about their personal score. Sure, you get the people who run off and do their own thing. However, there's a lot of people actually working together and it's definitely more teamwork than I've seen while playing TF or TFC. I would contribute a lot of that to shifting from CTF to CP maps.

I would personally attribute that to the fact that in order to reach point B from A, you have to shoot everything that moves and considering you'd have to run back to health packs which are probably far away, you'll want a team to have moar firepower & mobile-health-pack support.

Doesn't seem like there's much to the game besides point and click. TBH it sounds like they've created a cartoony (not in relation to the graphics, but in overall gameplay) version of DoD.

Doesn't seem like there's much to the game besides jump and spam. TBH it sounds like they've created a poorly optimized (not in relation to the gameplay, but to the performance of the game) version of TFC.

So when abouts in TF2 will using gre... or BHo... oh, nevermind. Those parts of the game don't exist.

TF2 will be great for people who play CS. It was a great marketing choice for them to do this too. You know, since CS players don't already have a mod.

This is a pretty good point, TF2 pub players = CS pub players

This is mostly because TF2 was advertized on big billboards in CS. A good number of CS pub players are selfish and annoying..TF2 does a good job of forcing them to work together, and because that is a novel concept for them, they really enjoy it.
True Fortress prior to TF2 had more depth and freedom though (what some call jump and spam is really just an unfortunate biproduct of depth and freedom,) and that's why I prefer FF.
