I got a server from mctom here. the Mr gigabit. Server runs GREAT. Top notch, never seen anyone lag, and it was CHEAP. 50 (1 dollar), per player slot. so I got my 22 player server at a great price and it runs great. Server is the [PK] The Pain Train 24/7 Fortress Forever server

I have one instance running at 74.52.23.202:37015 . I am about 30 miles from the server with 11ms ping, would like too see how much stress it puts on my hardware under load. I run a one person hosting company at www.jestserver.com and would like to find someone to admin/tinker with it as a trial run. Send me an email if you are interested.

Jason set me up with a game-switching FF and CS:S server last week in Dallas, TX. I live in Athens, GA and we are getting 30-45 ping times!! It's great, management is simple and the support is top notch! I had a problem saturday (I messed up my map configurations), I went to the support site and put in a ticket and 20mins later my server was back online!

Def. Recommend Vetwebhosting.

we got a constantly smooth, no lag server based in london with great upload speeds, i'm living in the north of england and i'm pinging at 20-23ms constantly - it's truely awesome!

i really would recommend it over most UK providers

I know this thread is a little old but we've had a good experience with gameservers and there were some negative comments about them in here so I just felt I should post our positive experience.

We use gameservers, no problem at all, everything got installed fine and without any problems. I ended up changing the mod and doing it all myself which was easier than sending in a ticket and waiting. So far the server is running very well, nice pings, no tech problems.

I just bought hosting for FF from gameservers, which is also the company I use for my CS 1.6 server. Is sourcemod good to go with, and I assume I can go to sourcemod.org to get additional plugins, right?

We use sourcemod and Mani's. I prefer Mani's but we left source mod to use hlstrikers clip plugin.
