The Dark Knight [Probably Spoilers in Replies]

So, uh, the Dark Knight. Was fucking amazing. I'm not going to spoil any of it, but I'm SURE people will in the posts to follow. Just got out of the midnight IMAX showing, and all of the hype and discussion about how good Heath Ledger is are accurate.

A blow job while watching the Dark Night would be better then, no?

...although you might accidentally form a sexual association with Batman and/or black, skintight suits. The latter part isn't that bad!

That might be the best movie to come out of Hollywood in a long long time. I admit it, I'm an action movie whore...but this movie was more than just a great action/superhero movie...It's a shame Heath Ledger isn't here anymore to receive an award for the acting in this movie...The Joker has to be the most twisted villain I've ever seen portrayed on the big screen.

I believe a poll between Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger is in order...

It wouldn't even be close...Heath Ledger's Joker is just a different breed of villain...

Best movie I've ever seen. Period. I went into it with very high expectations and it surpassed everything I expected. I looked up early reviews and everything. This movie is unbelievably awesome from beginning to end.

It's so much more than a superhero movie. Heath Ledger definitely surpasses all the hype surrounding him. He is amazing as the joker and leaves you in awe throughout the entire film. This movie engaged me throughout. I recommend this movie to anyone and everyone. It isn't just another comic book hero movie, its a fucking masterpiece.

"How bout a magic trick?"

Great movie.

Thought maybe people might have been exaggerating how great Heath Ledger played the Joker, but god damn was I wrong. I hope there's a lot of Joker extras on the DVD...even a long version of him hanging out the cop car like a dog, haha (oh cool, I just now realized the connection between that and what he says later about being a like dog).

I really like it when things not only live up to their hype, but actually exceed what I was expecting.

"Six?"

I absolutely loved that movie. Every part was amazing.

The only two things to watch out for if you haven't seen it A: it's 2 and 1/2 hours long, so make sure you pee and don't drink too much. And B: The reason it's so long is because they drill the them and the character's into you pretty hard core. They make it understandable by people who don't like paying attention at the movies.

They make it work though. It doesn't feel contrived or anything and the dialogue isn't terrible. Also, most people probably aren't like me and actually don't like paying attention at the movies so while it's negative thing to me (a MINOR negative thing) it could be positive for other people.

Also, someone needs to give Christian Bale a throat lozenge. Seriously.

(I stole that joke from Chud)
