Yeah, a snow theme would go much better with the style and appearance of the map (2 castles etc). The only thing I'm worried about so far is the lack of a smooth ramp in the yard. While it didn't do much for the 'trench' idea in the original, you could ramp slide up it and sail over the HW if you need to.

Right...Mulchman and I were not happy with the bases and after many hours of ideas and incredibly bad MSPaint sketches by MM we're finally getting something we both like. I kid you not this is about the 10th version of the front base weve gone through, weve had it all from simple stuff, to big pillars with horns and laser beams going into the clouds and finally..to this:

We're still tweaking it but its better than what we had before, hence the lack of news.

I think it's looking good.

I don't think there's a shred of truth in your statement regarding the quality of my MS Paint pictures... clearly beauty is in the eye of the beholder (and you must be blind... [rofl they are quite terrible, I agree]).

Those are placeholder (dev) textures so don't worry they'll be changed.

I'm liking the look of the base so far. So much better than your other attempts (imo). GL with the rest of the map, man!
