A return of sorts?

Hey guys. It's been a very, very, very long time since I've even ever been on this site. Just being here is flooding back a ton of memories from when I was younger. I spent a lot of my middle school and early early high school years here, and it's nice to see some others that were here when i was younger are still here.

I made this account when i was 13. I'm now 22. A LOT has happened in those critical years of development and I thought it'd be nice to walk down a memory lane of sorts here. How is everyone doing? If anyone remembers me, I'd be grateful to be honest.

i'm sorry i didn't mean we had conversations i meant i had remembered seeing you around the forum. i confused gibz that way i am misguided with time i thought he was still active because i'd see his posts but didn't realize they were from several years ago

Hey dude. It's great to see that you're still around. I remember you, too. I admittedly got a rush of nostalgia last night when I was looking at old PMs and posts. It's insane how different my life is now, looking back.

It's funny to see me describe things that I don't even remember happening, and others that I remember vividly and how inconsequential they were in the end. It's also funny in a way that I don't think of 2008/2009 as that long ago, but man the stuff I was doing then versus now is mind blowing. Nothing negative. I don't have the words right now lol.

Funny how that turned out actually being pretty good games overall. I remember being so against that crap. the last one only just came out last year.

and the way i was completely overreacting over a video game is completely hilarious to me right now.

I may forget to come around for a few days, but I try to be on at least a few times a month. I shared some vids on Facebook from our beta testing silliness, and got reminded of them a few days ago. I really miss those days and the shenanigans we had.

I really wish there was something we could do to make the forums more active. But the old posts are still here, and sometimes, I'll go wandering through them.

What sort of games do you play now? And if you don't mind my asking, where in the US are ya from? I'm from Western New York myself.

Mostly been playing TFC lately. I've been made admin on Drippy-'s 2fort recently. But, I've been having computer issues for the last week or two, and now I can't even get Steam to load up.

I also play(ed) Command and Conquer(original and Tiberian Sun).... And a few casual style games. Again, computer issues.

Pretty sure I need a new "data" drive. We're broke as shit right now, so it'll probably be another month or two before I can get back up and running. Unless something weird happens. Before the HD issue, I would join a FF server once in a while, if I saw one active. I would check a couple times a week. Never got into the Pick Up scene.

On the upside, I have 3 of my 4 arcade games in my dining room working.

Edit: I'm just outside of Baltimore City, in MD.
