Yes, if you do this, also do the Hi-Def or whatever model for this. I loves my super shotty from OpFor in TFC.

You should be shot with a shotgun for wanting to replace it with TFC's 9 year old model.

What's wrong with old models?
In TFC we had custom models from Quake/QWTF/etc...

Decompile the TFC shotgun with whatever program people back then used to decompile HL1 models, create/modify a .qc if needed (placement of the viewmodel on your screen etc.), then recompile for HL2 using StudioCompiler or the SDK tools. At least that's what I'd try first?

To get the anims working, you'd need to do a lot of .qc editing i think. Then again, i have no idea what files are included in decompiled HL1 models.. maybe there's a .qc that can be used for HL2.

Bah tired. Excuse any possible brainfarts.

To do a true port, you would have to manually put the shotgun onto the FF arms or else you would have old TFC arms that probably wouldn't show correct colors.

As far as the .qc, decompile the weapon you want to replace and check its .qc as well and match up animation names and framerates, based on how many frames the old/new model uses.

I actually really like the TFC super-shotgun third-person model (the new version).

I'd like to see that in FF.

yea, i like that one too. I would also like the Single-Shotty from TFC ported over to FF. I like TFC's better than FF's single, but i really like FF's super than TFC's, speccially the sound.

agreed it was nice looking for tfc i used it towards the end of my tfc time.
Also i liked his old school reskin with official shotty but with team color.
Well the color was on the side kinda like a racing stripe if you will, but anyhow they were both nice.
