Server Question

Greetings,

Is the gravity option only in console? or a config file somewhere? how I make it "stick"?

sv_gravity in server.cfg would make it "stick."

ty thats what i thought but, i guess i got confused as my server.cfg didnt have a sv_gravity..

just chuck it in there?

Or if you want to be crazy cool you can put it in another cfg file and make server.cfg exec that cfg!

Don't just toss sv_gravity in there alone, that doesn't do anything to help it stick.

Put this line in your server.cfg to keep it the same at all times on your server:

sv_gravity "800"

That is default, lower to float, higher to smash obviously.

I assume he knew to put in a value, seeing as he'd use the command before and it wasn't sticking on mapchanges.

He's clearly running a low-gravity server (why else would he ask) so the "keep it the same at all times" part is completely pointless as well.

Basically, useless post. Ha.
