FF Maps - Playtest and Feedback in HL2:DM - Page 5

I don't currently have my HL2 installed due to a recent reformat, so I haven't been able to play any of these maps on this test server.

Just wondering, how many are there so far, total?

for the past few hours ive been on hl2dm trying to find this server. (well, playing, and looking inbetween matches). i put the IP (72.232.94.154:27025) in, but nothing comes up. is it still offline from that guy crashing it?

It's up ATM, im assuming you know it's 'connect 72.232.94.154:27025' in console

Best add it to the Favorites or use HLSW.

6 maps so far .. and as they are unfinished maps some thing may not work like ladders..ect

No, The TK portion of scuzTools is only enabled on the Hidden:Source servers and only for IRIS team members. I don't think I friendly fire enabled on the FF DM server that I know of... if it is let me know, means that idiot did more damage then I thought.

Use "NOCLIP" in the console to get out of the boxes on that map.

FF isnt enabled on the server so no worries about TK'ing

10, thats awesome! When FF is released there will be their 10 or so official maps, (I haven't really counted them either) plus the 10 or so community maps giving a total of 20 maps! And thats just the beginning! In another month or so, I'm sure more will be released from the community. Not to mention the other maps the dev's will release with their second release.

I can't wait for FF!

Many of these maps are still in development. I don't mean to speak for anyone, but I think that Epicenter is probably the closest to being complete. After FF is out there will be reworks on them to include spawn points, flag caps, etc, so they all will need a little final development. I don't know how long that will take, but for a few of them I don't think it'll take long.

There is probably going to be alot of maps for FF but just a few quality ones anyways so don't get too excited over the amount of map. In the end, only a few will get played on servers.

I tried a couple of maps, but spawn campers made it ridiculous and I'll just hold off now until the official release.

Well, the point is generally to walk/fly-thru the maps just to look at them. The DMing is a side-effect. If the DMers really piss you off, turn on no-damage by typing Buddha in your console. Then you can observe the maps unmolested
