Annoying forum...

Why doesn't the quick reply button include nested quotations? It gets annoying expescially after some lame person picks a sentence and says "correct" "wrong" depending on his views.

Is there some way to reply with nested quotations that I am not aware of?

An example of a nested quotation would be this:

http://www.fortress-forever.com/foru...1&postcount=31

note, i had to do that manually. Is there an easier way?

Just hit the quote button, unless there is a specific reason you don't want to go to advanced mode. Other than that quick reply is just that: a quick reply not intended for quoting specific quotes automatically.

How come you've created 3 (or more?) topics complaining about the forum?

That only quotes what the person said. It doesn't include quotes of what they quoted.

I don't use the FF forum skin... too annoying with all the fixed margins and such.

Either that or you end up being properly identified as a crybaby.

If you just called me a crybaby, I guess I can call you a retard?

Knock yourself out. Keep in mind, though, that based on your track record here so far it doesn't mean anything.

Smart people will realize I am one of them. The dumb, like you, will probably feel threatened by my demonstration of higher intelligence.

Smart people make other people feel dumb. Making others feel dumb decreases their popularity.

Dumb thread posting arrogant trollers makes others feel annoyed. Making others feel annoyed makes people hit their Ignore button.

I don't mean to question your intelligence, but what kind of a name is bumgravy?

You can't with native Vbulletin. Period. Now, you may be a proud American, but you're also a lazy one. If you have a question about forum software, check the FAQ. Search the forum, then search with a web browser. A search using google for "vbulletin nested quotes" would make this very clear. Then, instead of pissing everyone off, you could propose adding a plugin to do this to their forums instead of complaining about it.

"Don't come to me with problems, come to me with solutions"

On a side note to the forum leaders, please do not install this plugin, nested quotes just make a mess.

I can't see them doing it. With one forum crash behind us...messing with the mix is asking for trouble no matter how innocuous the plug in may appear.
