Instalation question....

Yeah, I know.... I sound like a damned noob. Screw it.

Anyhow, I had to re-DL the game, and I'm trying to add it back into my Steam games list. Which file do I select to do this?

Uhh, it should do it automatically? You just dl'd it from one of the mirrors on the wiki correct?

Edit: You probly have to restart steam though.

I did. Several times. I can't get the Beta to work, either, although I've got it updated to the newest version.

I'm trying to use the "add game" button, and that's not working either.

Edit: I'm going to try installing it again, to see what happens.

Edit2: Nope, still not showing up. >.<

Frustrating as hell.

Try 'Activating a Product on Steam' and input your beta key again?

I should have clarified.... not the Steam Beta, the original Beta.

The Steam Beta is in and working fine.

If so, then you're probably SOL. Steampipe changed how a bunch of old mods worked. Many mods from 2006 and 2007 like Substance mod http://www.moddb.com/mods/substance
are completely borked.
