Im not sure if thats such a great idea. It would cost a fair amount of money, with no guarantee of success. If everyone contributed a load of money and got no result out of it, then that might not go down well.

The site gets a lot of traffic, I'm assuming allowing just an advertisement on the site would bring at least some revenue. I don't think anyone would mind, seeing as every other site on the web today has around 12 banners.. I'll do my part by clicking it 23 times a day. I don't really know how much revenue it'd bring in but hey, anything works right?
If they don't use it for a new coder, they could just pocket the money for hard work and noone would be disappointed=p
