This has nothing to do with Bingo Bango - keep working on it. I don't know Nezumi, I never really liked dm_lockdown. It just seems like a dull dead map to me, grotesque if I must say. I just don't like how the architecture is set up and how the map is constructed. I also tend to dislike its texturing...

It would be cool if you lighten up the map a lot (one of the things that really bothers me). I would also suggest completely retexturing, perhaps.

Sorry to get back into this thread so late... I haven't put the map on the server and it sounds like Bingo's recalled it for the timebeing... let me know when you want it setup my man.

k, i took a break from it for a while, working on my ff_battlefield, if I get the time Il try it on a different computer, if it dosent crash then Il do some stuff to lighten it up and think about retexturing

no time, really, the best is when theres a long awaited community map added. Besides tht, just look at the server whenever ur on steam, and if u c 1 or 2 ppl on, go ahead and play

There's been a major problem at our datacenter with the routing system and our servers have been down for 9 hours. They are working on fixing the issue, but we've been given no ETA for completion. Sorry for the inconvience.

If u want to u can add my Midair2 but its not in a single BSP, its in maps, materials, etc. folders, because I cant seem to learn how to do that, so idk

i honestly think after spending some time in that server that some of FF community mappers are doing a bad job and i really hope that a lot of these hl2 look a like maps dont show up on our FF servers.

What HL2 look-a-like maps? And... you are judging them purely on aesthetics alone, and then saying that they are/will be terrible for FF?

And witch server IP would be nice you bumbeed an old thread. If the IP is 8.6.8.213 all the weapons have been added with a plugin so you don't have to enable server cheats. On top of that build something better (if you can) or stfu.

The [o-t] hasn't had a HLDM server up for 4, maybe 5 months. Dunno where you're playing, but it ain't with us.

Haha, I think exo was playing some real HL2DM maps and getting furious at FF mappers.

Mapping is open to everyone. Hollywood and game studios are not. But you still have a point, just bad examples.

Exo is just in the wrong here because he gave a very generic insult to all community mappers without any real substance. That is why we are furious at him being furious.

This game isn't being made in a game studio. There are hundreds of indie flicks made each year. If you have the motivation to make a game or a movie, you can do it without the backing of a major studio. My examples are valid.

Truth. Mapping is still much easier to get into.
