Will my system play FF yet :X?

Genuine question, I've recently decided I need to upgrade, I brought this wank because I'm special, I know it could be better but most of it was salvaged from an old computer :P

I haaaave

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4400+
2GB of RAM (800Mhz)
nVidia 8600 GT

seeing as this is a major upgrade from my previous, I canney wait to see if it'll play FF nicely

I have 1GB of RAM and a RADEON 9250 - I can still play FF. I can't play TF2 for more than like 5 minutes, though.

So yeah, you can at least play FF. Highest quality? Iunno, but you can play.

Source games use a lot of PROCESSOR.

You have a dual core CPU for Christ's sake. You'll be fine. I used to play it on a P4.

My system is a lot worse than yours and plays FF. Performance is a lot worse than HL2, but i get around 30 - 40 FPS nonetheless (using a high-fps config).

Athlon XP 2400+
1 GB Ram
Geforce 6200 (yup!)

I play at 1024x768, high textures, low shadows, low shaders, medium models and no antialiasing. anistropic filtering is set to 2x. Oh, and i 'downgrade' FF to directx level 8.1.

i used to play on a radeon 9800 pro with gfx completely nerfed down to minimum with dx 8.1 for better fps it looked horrible but was workin.

No, you need the same specs GH3 for pc needs, sorry.

yea you be more then ok. IMO its all cpu tho i have a AMD 2.22ghz and it blows for me sorta i mean i can play good ofc but all low settings i figure i get a faster cpu mobo vidcard ill be perfect

well uber perfect and yes alot of ram always good i use 2gig ram

Where's the dual 8800GTXs? But yes, that should run it. I would have gotten something better than the 8600, as it's mostly just a mid-level card with DX10, but hey, power is power.

I'm still using the geforce4ti and athlon xp 2000+ I got 5 years ago with 786 ram.
I'm running at 1440 x 900, with no major tweaks, no AA and it's playable except on a spammy dustbowl match or something.
