Very similar to the Comic Con trailer.

Still kick ass though.

EDIT: I could've sworn the original teaser they showed was a little different...?

I still watch the original TRON from time to time.
It was the rage back in the early 80's. A movie way ahead of it's time.

^^^ I agree. I love the original movie..... which is why I'm so apprehensive on this new one. If done right, it could be the blockbuster of the century... if not, it's going to generate more hate than Obama at a KKK rally.

Heh... apparently Disney setup a little gig in the Gaslamp Quarter of Downtown San Diego during Comic Con '09, and called it "Flynn's"

Inside, it starts out as an arcade with some 80s style retro arcade games (all playable) with a Tron cabinet in the back, and behind the Tron cabinet is a secret door that leads to a dark hallway with some back-lit concept pictures of the lightcycle from the original Tron, and eventually it's evolution into the Tron Legacy (2) lightcycle. At the end of the hallway, and around 2 corners, is an actual life-sized lightcycle sitting on a spinning stage. They hand out some arcade tokens that say on one side "Flynn's Arcade" and on the other "Home of Tron", and at the end of it all, a t-shirt that says "Flynn's Arcade."

I stopped by there tonight to try and see it all, but they didn't open until 9pm and I had to catch the trolley & bus by 8:45... so I missed it tonight. Maybe i'll be able to go back tomorrow. I was able to get a token though.

I got through half the trailer, then it needed to buffer, and it was boring enough that I just ended it. Worst trailer ever. Loved the original, but 1.5 minutes of really uneventful bike chase will not get people into the theater.

I often thought that The Matrix was a deeper, more hip version of TRON sort of.

Flynn is captured by Master Control, thrown into the computer world, kicks Master Controls buttocks and saves the day.

Neo goes back and forth into the computer world. Strikes a deal with Deus Ex Machina and saves the day.
