Missing map ff_palermo

Can somebody please upload this file. I can't play this map for some reason.

I've tried deleting the file from my maps folder and hoping the server would re-create it. No luck, yet this is the only map that will not download and work properly. Thank you if you can upload it for me.

Well here is the thing thats a default/Dev map comes with FF. So you should have it in your installer also. Yom also need to check the materials folder to see if palermaro has some custom content.

Prolly u couldn t dowload it, cuse doesn t make much sense to upload maps that came with FF to the dowload server, i think that was the case.

No but if for some reason you didn't have the complete map you might have been missing textures. If your not missing any textures then don't touch anything else if it's working.

This could be a bigger problem though. If you didn't get palermo then your original install may have had an issue.

Which dl did you get and where did you get it from?

yeah but getting a bad .bsp from the released installer probably isn't a good thing.

Steam fucks them up sometimes I think. I've had to delete hl2dm maps that were fine one day and bad the next. But it should be looked into.

well sorry for the delayed response...

firstly i download v1 right when it was released. then patched from there. downloaded the community map pack and everything was playing good except no voice icon and also missing map palermo.

i downloaded the map you uploaded and that worked fine, but i wasnt happy about not being able to see who was talking so i uninstalled and installed the full 2.0

oddly enough my hw guys gun wasnt sounding right, and also my grenade ticks werent making the beeps. the voice icon worked! this is what i did.

i installed the 1.1->2.0 patch and everything worked as it should. my game plays great now with minor crashing...

edit: forgot to mention before i installed the 1.1->2.0 on map ff_openfire i saw a gigantic engineer and sentry gun. it literally was the same size as the sky. haven't seen that since.(i should've took a screenshot) :/

Don't know why all the other stuff happened (I guess the people who made the Installers/Patches will know), but I can tell you that this giant Engineer/SG was not a bug, just someone who built and stood in the map's skybox (which makes things look giant)
