Help on discovering a game's name.

So, today I was taken by a supernatural force that gave me this amazing will to play this old ooold game, but that's when the problem starts.. I can't remember it's name.
I do remember a couple of things about it tough:
1st. You control a chubby guy, wearing a green t-shirt, (now this i'm not sure) and has a orange hair.
2nd. You start the game at your house, and you need to find the key to unlock your door, and before you leave, you see your wife, that's pregnant.
3nd. It's a action and puzzle game.
4th. The cd cover (or the menu bg) is a the main character riding a dragon, wich is also a mission, to heal your(?) dragon, that is sick in the mountains.
5th. In the end of the game, you can go to the future (or at least something that looks like the future, with some cool guns and stuff)
6th. YOU HAVE THIS AMAZING LITTLE RED BALL THAT YOU CAN THROW EVERYWHERE! (it's fucking fun to play with it.)
7th. The game has a fucking large map, it's like, huge.
8th. The name might have something with 'the (amazing?) adventure of <character's name>'

So, if someone knows what I'm talking about, PLEASE, help me.

Yeah I was thinking Twinsen a little ways into the description, forgot the name of the first version though.
