Ok small question, I'm making a remix of REM's "losing my religion" I have an acoustic version, but I can't seem to be able to filter out the guitars in the background, and all I need are the vocals.
Can anyone help here? |

yeah... thats probably not going to happen. EQs and Filters act on frequency ranges, not timbres. since acoustic guitars and vocals have similar frequency ranges, you wont be able to just cut out the guitars and keep the vocals. you might be able to make it so the guitars are much quieter than they currently are, but chances are even if you do that , youre going to end up making the vocals sound... incomplete.
if you got a link to the file, i can give it a shot to see what i can do, but im not makin any promises |
