question about brush sizes, 16u vs 32u+?

Before I go further into making my next map, considering it's going to be a hell of a lot bigger to compensate for more people, my question is regarding the size of brushes, mainly for walls/ceilings/floors pretty much. Will a thickness of 16units make a huge difference over a thickness of 32units and up? Would it just be file size that gets affected or r_speeds? Thanks

You can just use whatever thickness you want.

r_speeds don't really matter in Source, as long as you take care of vvis, you're virtually unlimited (though there is a bursh limit around 65,000 iirc).

wall size depends on the map your makeing: 16 is good for some urban stuff like hunted, but fortresses require thick walls or they will look weak!
