I'm really digging Prototype. Runs quite well on PC, but some of the controls are clearly pulled from the console (Lots of holding down 3 or 4 buttons to do things).

Not yet, still saving for a new rig, I thought it was also on PS3, if I'm not mistaken.

edit: Prototype is sweet, but it's basically just a web of shadows mod.

do yourself a favor and play prototype first. i played infamous first and when i went to prototype it was disappointing that the quality (graphics, sound, storytelling, mood) was not up to par with infamous. both are great games with different gameplay, but infamous is on a whole other level when it comes to immersion.

i just preordered arkham asylum and ultimate alliance 2. im pumped for both of them

yeah i cant wait for it. its gotten really great reviews already (game informer gave it a 9.5...). im definitely looking forward to it. shame is im only going to have a month to play it before i get mua2 and lose all my free time to that. and then the next month tekken 6 comes out! TOO MANY GOOD GAMES AHHH

Also, I'm looking forward to Champions Online, Borderlands, and Demon's Souls.

Edit: Oh yeah, I'm trying to wrap my head around Hearts of Iron 3. I played 2 and had little success with it and I figured I would have better luck with this one but I'm still pretty overwhelmed.

My first big problem with it is that I sort of lack a goal. In games like CIV, I get the goal. Here, it's, I guess, to win the war? I'm not really sure how it works just from the ground up. And, like most games like this, the tutorial sucks hard and most online stuffs about it assume you already know almost everything about the game and it's mechanics.

Sort of like FF.

I need to play a game with a scary atmosphere, something like Condemned Criminal Origins, I found it last night, and scared me a little in my past, but played it and beat it, got hooked and bought the sequel.

So currently I'm playing Condemned 2 Bloodshot for my Xbox 360 and Resident Evil 5 on PS3. Trying to beat Professional mode with the so intelligent AI.

Also, FUCKING REAPERS. Such assholes.

Dead Space is good for a Doom 3 type scare. Not all the creepy after a while but still enjoyable. Other than that and RE5, I haven't heard of any good horror games. But if they're making a new Silent Hill for PS3, then that will rock balls.

what about Siren: Blood Curse (or whatever its called)? those are available for download on psn for cheap. i played the demo and it was pretty good/creepy, but i never got around to trying the full game.

P.S. they already made a silent hill for ps3. Silent Hilll Homecoming. i havent played it, so i cant comment on it.
