Partial SG reskin (level 3)

Changes include: Chromafied barrel end casing, Chromafied Rocket pods, and chromafied base.

The SG base (the tripod bit!) also includes a fix for the skinning error in the original FF release. The base files are available, if anybody wants them. The SG skinning is not ready for realease yet tho.

If you want the base for all your SG needs, send me a Pm w/ email addy, and I'll send it to you!

All 4 color types of the lvl 3 sg have been reskinned!

If anybody knows where I could host the files for download, I'd be happy to release these to the public.

Im also working on lvl 1, and 2 SG skins to match the theme of the lvl 3

Can you make a low rider SG next? Maybe with some neon lights underneath and NoS rockets (i.e. blue trails)?

Yea, I can't think of any way I could add any kinda glow to the SG's. as for the rocket trails, Ill need to figure out which file the fire/smoke data for it is pulled from. But it might be shared w/ other projectiles like the RPG.

Job well done, it looks nice.

However, I think the picture above describes perfectly the major problem with FF visuals. Grey shit on top of grey shit with tones of red/blue which are also grey'ish. Try to make up a good environmental awereness from that mess

Just my opinion though (+ few others from my clan).

well, im not sure how the SG's look at low settings... I run everything at full blast. They're definatly noticable, due to the highly reflective nature of the metalic bits

Actually, would I would love to see is a Steampunk SG. That would be pretty cool.

Only hard thing is working within the constraints of the model, i.e. the hitboxes and whatnot.

Barrels of an antique Gatlin gun
Visible gears on the outside
Brass and copper metal parts...
Small "canon" barrels
