I realize your message was a joke, but for the airheads .. Nope. There's nothing 'wrong', according to society, with being heterosexual. Therefore, they wouldn't worry about it. "Oh no. I could be heterosexual. What would they think of me?" wouldn't make much sense. Now, if you swap heterosexual with homosexual, it makes sense. People worry, for the most part, because of the 'social consequences' - if you will.
